Simple Seasonal Settings
Table Styling Inspiration for the New Season
I love this time of year when we can finally start to dine al fresco again and I always love to create beautiful, curated table settings using vintage or loved items I have collected over the years mixed with newer pieces that make it feel fresh.
Whether you are dining inside or outside, small additions to your table can make a huge difference to the overall experience whether hosting a party or simply dining with your family. Some fresh flowers and a set of beautiful candles can be enough but if you want to create a fresh new look for your table this Spring, I have put together three inspirational ideas along with a collection of products you can use to recreate a Pinterest perfect table followed by some amazing (and easy!) recipes using seasonal ingredients as the base.

I love this table and the subtle mix of checks that have been used because although the patterns are different, the colors are muted and tonal so it doesn’t feel over-the-top and it still blends beautifully into the landscape with the use of terracotta, green and brown tones. I love the patterned plates and the use of mismatched cups which make it feel less uniform. The bright blue cafetière is a lovely little addition to bring a pop of color to the look which you know I love to do with my outfits also.

Eat your greens
I love this one-color look using different (but complimentary) tones of green to create a chic, but impactful look. The green color scheme works perfectly for an outdoor setting however you could also do this inside using colors that match with your decor.
I love the simplicity of the white serviettes and tableware with vintage crystal glassware which stops the look from being an overkill of green. Here, the only hints of another color come from the food, like bright roasted red tomatoes or some fresh strawberries.

Beurre et Bleu
This subtle color combination of the soft blue and butter yellow paired back with the vintage wooden chairs and white embroidered table runners give me the feeling of being in a French farmhouse eating fresh bread, butter and cheese from the market.
I love how all the details have been kept really simple but the combination of everything together works perfectly and every piece on the table looks like it was collected over years from flea markets or small vintage shops. It looks like a table to be enjoyed for hours after the meal has finished.
